Even if you don't like board games...
You should really try "Ticket to Ride". Its similar to Settlers of Catan, except streamlined, and its not clear until the very end who has won. We affectionately refer to it as trains.

End of Classes '09
Today was the end of classes for the 2008-2009 year. Thank god this semester is over! To commemorate the date we had a 5:30 power hour that was pushed back to 7:00. Still feeling the effects, but it was a great chance to celebrate with the people who I will remember long after the classes and grades.

As an outside observer, I'm very interested and intrigued by the goings-on of an average bunch of college kids. They are undergoing a very unique experience which few people in history have endured: college. Thus, the objective and existence of this blog is garnering society rare, invaluable knowledge, and an insight into the psychological state of today's youth. Thank God a narrative of today's future leaders is finally here for us and for posterity!

Day After Classes
Yesterday was the last day of classes for the semester here at collegetown. Thus begins the grueling waiting game since my final exams are not until next Wednesday. This time of the semester is always weird because your schedule is free from classes like "Welcome Week", but you still have very large exams to study for like you're in the middle of the term.
What will I be doing with the week free of classes? Studying and working. Last night I celebrated being half-way done with my schedule, but now I've gotta power through the last half.
The guys around here are leaving at different times next week, I'll be heading out on Thursday morning, flying out to Phoenix and than to Puerto Vallarta. Found out yesterday that I have a long layover in Phoenix, which means I can say hello to my brother - works out great!

A German Goodbye
Tonight we had a going away party for micha (michael). It was also a birthday party for Handley who turned 21 at midnight. we played beerpong and got drunk and went to back door pizza instead of the bar cuz we were hungry not thirsty and there was a cover charge. fortunately, micha is coming back to say goodbye on thursday morning. also, we are going to take a house trip to germany sometime to visit him.
The highlight of the night was drunken bush surfing using a door as a surfboard. Try it sometime.

Our Blog
"Lives of Cowboys" a title offered by the first-floor resident of our house, is a blog that attempts to document the random and crazy, logical and illogical, absurd and ridiculous lives that are housed in a single residence off of campus at Collegetown.
It might be news about a class, date, party, job, break-in, or vacation, who knows.
As the Zen Master says: "We'll see".
